The battery is the "fuel tank" of your ebike. The most modern ones are made of lithium , are much lighter and more versatile, and can be recharged at any time, as there is no "memory" problem present in older batteries.
Lithium battery is clean, dry, and safe as it is made of solid materials. However it can be dangerous if pierced or subjected to fire, just don't do it, right?
The battery life depends on several issues, but be aware that the most basic will calmly suit most cyclists. So the concern with autonomy only starts if you are from the triple-digit group, but even so, there is a solution for any possibility.
iPedal builds its own batteries by importing the cells and mounting them into removable cases available in three sizes.
We use the excellent 3C lithium cells Top- of-the-line 18650, in addition to the incredible Ultra1000 21700 cells with 1000 cycles of capacity. It's your guarantee of quality and durability.

TYPE A 3C and ULTRA CELLS: We use the excellent top-of-the-line 3C 18650 lithium cells, in addition to the amazing Ultra1000 21700 cells with 1000 capacity cycles. It is your guarantee of quality and durability.
3 SECURITY ELEMENTS: Batteries equipped with BMS with AUTO-OFF voltage control. Protection against short circuit integrated in the cell. Charger with automatic shutdown at the end of charging.
RESPONSIBLE DISPOSAL: We have a specific disposal policy for deteriorated cells that reach our hands, which consists of sending them to a specialized recycling center. It is the guarantee that the chemical components of the lithium cells will never be discarded in the environment.
